The theme preference is browser storage rather than a cookie: it stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
Analytics — only with consent
If you consent, analytics cookies record anonymised page views so we can see which articles are read. IP addresses are truncated before storage. If you decline, these are not set and the site works normally.
What we do not set
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels from ad networks
- Anything that profiles you by the health topics you read
Managing cookies
You can change your consent at any time through the cookie banner, and clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing site data also erases your theme and language preferences, which is harmless.
