Privacy Policy
At a Glance
- We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell reader data.
- Health interest is sensitive personal data. We do not build reader profiles from the health topics you read.
- Analytics are anonymised — IP addresses are truncated before storage.
- You have rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. How to use them is below.
Who we are
WellOrganic Health (.in.net), publishing at wellorganichealth.in.net from India. For data questions write to [email protected].
What we collect
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymised page views, referrer, approximate country, device type | Every visit | To know which articles are read and whether the site works on real devices |
| Name, email, message | Only if you use a contact form | To read and reply to your message |
| Email address and language preference | Only if you subscribe to the newsletter | To send the newsletter you asked for |
| Colour theme preference | If you switch theme | Stored in your own browser; never sent to us |
We do not require an account, and there is nowhere on this site to create one.
What we deliberately do not do
- We do not build advertising or interest profiles from the health topics you read. Someone reading about a symptom should not become a targetable segment.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
- We do not use cross-site tracking pixels from advertising networks for retargeting.
- We do not ask for health information, and we ask you not to send any.
Analytics
Analytics run with IP anonymisation — your address is truncated before storage so it cannot identify you or your household. We look at aggregate patterns, not individuals.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. Preference storage (colour theme, language) lives in your browser and is never transmitted. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. See our cookie policy.
Your rights under the DPDPA 2023
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
- Ask for correction of inaccurate data, and completion of incomplete data
- Ask for erasure of your data where we no longer need it
- Withdraw consent at any time — for the newsletter, the unsubscribe link in every issue does this immediately
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board if unresolved
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
How long we keep things
- Contact messages: 24 months, then deleted
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
- Anonymised analytics: 26 months
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate — hosting, email delivery, analytics — under contract and only as needed. We do not share data with advertisers.
Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security and changes
The site runs over HTTPS and access to stored messages is restricted to editorial staff. No system is perfectly secure, which is a further reason we collect as little as possible.
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page with the date. Last updated: 31 July 2026.
