Editorial Policy

This page sets out how WellOrganic Health (.in.net) decides what to publish, who checks it, and what we will not run at any price.

Our five rules

  1. No cure claims. Ever. For any condition. Not in English, Hindi or Hinglish; not in headlines, body text, captions, meta descriptions or structured data.
  2. Every health-substantive article is reviewed by a named credentialed practitioner before publication. Enforced by the publishing system, not by memory.
  3. Every remedy carries an evidence label and a safety caution. No exceptions for popular topics.
  4. Hindi is written in Hindi, English in English. No machine translation in either direction.
  5. Correct publicly. Errors are logged at /corrections/; health articles are re-reviewed annually.

How an article is made

Concept → research → draft → editor review → DMR screening (blocking)medical review (blocking) → fact-check → publish → annual re-review.

Two of those stages can stop an article dead, and both are automated rather than advisory:

  • DMR screening. Every draft is scanned across headline, body, excerpt, standfirst, summary and meta description. If a Schedule J condition appears close to a claim verb, the article is held as a draft. It fails closed — an error in the scanner blocks rather than allows.
  • Medical review. An article in a health-substantive category cannot publish without an assigned reviewer whose status is “approved”.

What every published article carries

  • A named author with a byline and photo
  • A named medical reviewer with qualification, registration number and review date, where the article is health-substantive
  • An “At a Glance” summary box
  • At least three cited sources with type indicators
  • An evidence label, on remedy and traditional-practice articles
  • A safety cautions box and a “what this does not do” section, on remedy articles
  • A “when to see a doctor instead” box, on anything symptom-adjacent
  • A visible “last reviewed” date

Sourcing

We use a published source hierarchy. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses outrank individual trials; trials outrank observational work; classical texts are cited as traditional context and never as clinical evidence, and are visually distinguished from research citations in every sources block.

We do not cite content-mill health sites, supplement marketing, social media claims, anecdote, or AI-generated summaries as evidence.

What we refuse to publish

  • Any claim that a food, herb, remedy or practice cures, treats, prevents, controls or reverses a disease
  • Disease-targeted remedy headlines, and dosage protocols for named conditions
  • Weight-loss targets, calorie protocols, “belly fat” content, or anything that could reinforce disordered eating
  • Detox and cleanse claims
  • Fertility and sexual-performance content
  • Symptom checkers and diagnosis quizzes
  • Miracle-cure testimonials and before/after health transformation imagery
  • Supplement sales and ingestible-product affiliate links
  • AI-generated body prose
  • Paid guest posts, and any participation in link marketplaces
  • Content targeting another publication’s brand name

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by editors. Advertisers and sponsors have no input into articles, and no sponsor may influence an evidence label or a myth-check verdict. Sponsored content passes the same editorial, DMR and medical-review pipeline as our own work, is clearly labelled, and can be refused.

We do not accept payment for placement, links, or favourable coverage of any product.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Substantive corrections are logged at /corrections/ with the date and what changed. A changed evidence label is treated as a correction like any other.
